Drilled Shaft Inspector (Course & Exams)

The CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspector (DSI) course is a specialized 2-day training program for technicians and construction professionals responsible for the inspection and acceptance process during drilled shaft operations, in accordance with FDOT specifications and CTQP requirements. As part of the FDOT Geotechnical Training Program, the course prepares participants to monitor excavation, slurry control, reinforcement placement, and concrete installation, ensuring compliance with Standard Specifications (Section 455) for structural integrity, load capacity, and project acceptance. Qualification requires on-site experience observing 5 drilled shafts using the wet method, plus passing the written examination. A separate proficiency examination (100% required) is also part of the DSI qualification.
