New Trainee ID (TIN) Required for CTQP Exams Effective September 1, 2025 Effective September 1, 2025, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing a new process for all Construction Training and Qualification Program (CTQP) exam applications. To improve the accuracy of our records and prevent the creation of duplicate accounts, all technicians will be required to use a permanent CTQP Trainee ID (TIN) to register for exams.

The objective of this qualification is to ensure all test results used for quality control, verification, dispute resolution, and acceptance of asphalt mix are performed in accordance with Standard Test Methods so that the test results reflect the actual characteristics of the asphalt mixtures and whether specification requirements are met.
