New Trainee ID (TIN) Required for CTQP Exams Effective September 1, 2025 Effective September 1, 2025, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing a new process for all Construction Training and Qualification Program (CTQP) exam applications. To improve the accuracy of our records and prevent the creation of duplicate accounts, all technicians will be required to use a permanent CTQP Trainee ID (TIN) to register for exams.

Exam Requirements

1) Written Examination: The written exam lasts 2 hours. The written exam is open-book and multiple-choice. Exams are scored electronically by the CTQP administrator. The minimum score to pass the exam is 70% correct. After taking the written test, please allow up to 2 weeks for scores to be ready and results to be posted.
