The UNDERGROUND AND ENGINEERING BASICS 101 course provides thorough information regarding underground construction methods. Upon completion of this course, the Student/Contractor will be able to: Recognize the different types of Underground Utility and Excavation Scope of Work and a better understanding of the components of Engineering Trades Basics of Temporary Traffic Control: Understand and apply the guidelines and standards for the execution of traffic control in work zones, apply the concept and learn about “Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices” (MUTCD) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
